Bristol Palin’s Verbal Smackdown + Defends Homophobic Comment

Bristol Palin was at Saddle Ranch Thursday night with her camera crew shooting some scenes for her upcoming reality show. The daughter of politician Sarah Palin was enjoying her time on the mechanical bull till someone from the crowd yelled out, “Did you ride Levi like that?! Your mother’s a whore!” Bristol was not so conservative in her response. Baby-boo walked into the crowd and confronted the man, Stephen Hanks, a 47-year-old L.A consultant. He went on to call her mother “evil, the devil” and she rationalized that it was probably because he was homosexual. The two exchanged more malicious words till her crew broke it up after he called her a “F*ckin’ b*tch.” In defense of her homosexual retort a rep released a statement saying she:
“was approached in a confrontational and inappropriate manner when two men aggressively shouted expletives aimed at her in reference to her mother. Bristol responded to the unprovoked verbal assault by standing her ground and defending her family.”
The rep also added that, “the situation ended with no incident, and accusing her of homophobia is completely unfounded and totally misstates her views.” Yikes! Check out the full clip and let me know if a) She over reacted and b) The “gay” comment was over the top?

I’m not a Bristol fan, but I think she handled it well. Don’t think the gay comment was out of line because she asked IF he was gay. It’s no secret why homosexuals dislike Palin, so I think she was justified in asking him if that was his reasoning. Personally, I think Bristol is somebody for the wrong reasons.
All she did was ask if he was a homosexual. Why is that bad?
