Drake to Guest Star on SNL

On October 15, Drake will become the 2nd member of rap group Young Money to make an appearance on the sketch comedy and variety show Saturday Night Live after Nicki Minaj. NBC announced yesterday that the Toronto native would debut in his episode with Anna Faris as host. The episode is a week before the release of Drake’s sophomore album, Take Care on October 24th, which also happens to be his birthday. The anticipation for the album has been gaining momentum over the past month, with the release of two hit singles ‘Headlines’ and ‘Marvin’s Room.’ Also, Drake personally released the LP artwork for the album on his blog, October’s Very Own which included a message to his fans:
“Feels like its been so long. Is life moving so fast in this generation that when we desire something it begins to move in slow motion? Are we used to just getting what we want right away? Or do we require one another to feel right about all that is going on around us? Maybe our anticipation is justified by the fact that we genuinely cannot wait to share a moment again? Either way, your life and mine are scheduled to meet on October 24…..I wouldn’t miss is for the world. See you soon, Drake.”
Are we the only ones excited for a Drizzy filled October?
