Un-Paid-In-Full :: Ryan Leslie Owes Good Samaritan $1Million

Last year, singer/producer Ryan Leslie started a public campaign (via twitter) and YouTube searching for his very valuable macbook, which was stolen from the back of his Mercedes, while touring in Cologne, Germany. As a result of it’s worth, Leslie initially promised a $2,000 finder fee for his computer, but then later on hiked up the reward to $1 million. Armin Augestein, a 52-year-old German resident, turned the laptop over to the police after he found it, walking his dog a month after it had been swiped.

However, it appears that Leslie forgot to pay-up. A recent lawsuit was filed in a Manhattan federal court and states that Leslie did not return Augestein’s emails about the laptop. Michael Fischman, Augestein’s US based lawyer says,
“Its unfortunate that my client has to go to such lengths to recover the reward.”
No word from Leslie’s camp, as of yet.
