Tiger Woods’ Ex-Caddie Calls Him A “Black Ass-Hole”

Steve Williams worked as caddie for famous tennis player Tiger Woods for 13 years, but Woods fired him back in July claiming that it was, “time for a change,” after the scandal with his mistress hit the fan. Needless to say, after receiving the news, Williams was less than thrilled. He released a statement on his website saying,
“After 13 years of loyal service, needless to say this came as a shock. Given the circumstances of the past 18 months working through Tiger’s scandal, a new coach and with a major swing change and Tiger battling through injuries I am very disappointed to end our very successful partnership at this time. I have had the opportunity to work of late for Australian Adam Scott and will now caddy for him on a permanent basis.”
Fast forward to the present day, the tension between the two continues.  In an interview in New Zealand, Williams commented on how he had wasted two years of his life during the scandal and how his own name was dragged through the mud as people claimed he knew about his boss’s infidelity. He also added that,
“I, along with a lot of people, lost a lot of respect for Tiger and I pointed out before his return at the Masters at Augusta in 2010 that he had to earn back my respect. Through time I hope he can gain my respect back. He definitely needs to earn my respect again, that’s for sure.”

Williams also fired some shots at Woods after he won his first victory with Scott at the Bridgestone Invitational saying,

“I have been caddying for more than 30 years now and that is the best win of my life.”

And this week at the HSBC Champions in Shanghai, which was a celebration of the ‘caddie of the year,’ Williams was called up to explain the statement. And no one could have expected it when he said,

“My aim was to shove it right up that black ass hole.”

Yikes! The 47-year-old has since released a statement on his website.

“I apologize for comments I made last night at the Annual Caddy Awards dinner in Shanghai. Players and caddies look forward to this evening all year and the spirit is always joking and fun. I now realize how my comments could be construed as racist. However I assure you that was not my intent. I sincerely apologize to Tiger and anyone else I have offended.”

Shall we forgive him?
