Details on Heavy D’s Health, Prior to His Death

Rumor has it that before his death, 44-year-old Heavy D had continued to work on losing weight and improving his overall health. Sources tell TMZ that he had attended a number of gyms and fitness centers in Los Angeles. He began to re-strategize his exercise routine and also ran every day. Although there are a few theories on his cause of death, none have been confirmed yet. As of Wednesday evening, the LA Times reported that a doctor had prescribed a drug due to a cough. Heavy D was also having breathing problems at his home before collapsing, and there is speculation that the rapper was experiencing flu-like symptoms or pneumonia. Peep the full story here.

He had acute bronchitis that turned into pneumonia. That is not directly related to weight. Anyone can have that issue. He failed to rest his body properly and it caught up to him.
Heav is a close family friend and yes it was pneumonia NOTHING to do with weight I’m 5’9″ 130 lbs and I’ve had it twice.. He will be truly missed this was completely unexpected..
This is basically saying it didn’t have anything to do with his weight. So…why are they “confirming” it? We can all read.
