Tupac Will Not Be Resurrected ::: John Singleton Pulls Out of Tupac Movie

The highly anticipated Biopic on Tupac Shakur has just hit a roadblock. John Singleton is the latest director to pull out of the movie; second to Antonie Fuqua, who pulled out when he realized how difficult it would be to cast the lead role. It’s not clear exactly why Singleton pulled out but it’s speculated that his focus is on the “ghetto love story” he’s making with Taraji P. Henson and Tyrese Gibson. It’s kind of sucky that Singleton pulled out of the film, especially since he had a close relationship with the late Tupac and worked with him in his classic film, Poetic Justice. We’ll see how the production of this project pans out.
