Actress Tasha Smith Talks Being in Love, Having Bad Gas + Being A Stripper

Because of the less than 3 minute clip of actress Tasha Smith‘s appearance interview on the Wendy Williams show, we now know more about her life than we’ll get out of most celebrities in years. The discussion began with her upcoming one year anniversary with her hubby Keith Douglas and a very gassy secret about them. She admitted that they were both lactose intolerant and the not so romantic episode that resulted from when they both had vanilla ice cream. She also admitted that in the past, she used to be a stripper, “you tell your business before someone else tries to tell your business.” She jokingly explained that during her days on the pole, she preferred white strip clubs. She explained,
“We don’t tip enough and then you gotta work too hard for black people in the strip club, I’m not tryna break a hip.”
Another intimate detail Tasha shared was that her mom was hooked on drugs and she’s now 24 years clean. Inspiring! Peep the full interview below.
Smith is set to appear in the new Tyler Perry show entitled “For Better or Worse,” which is based off of her and Michael Jai White’s characters in “Why Did I Get Married.” Tune in to the premiere tommorow on TBS at 9pm EST/8c.
