Weed Possession Don’t Stop No Show, Ask Snoop Dogg

On Saturday (January 7th) 40-year-old Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., better known as Snoop Dogg, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. But you’re not surprised, right? Snoop has been arrested for drug possession several times. The first incident was shortly after he graduated high school. He was arrested again in 1998, 2001, twice in 2006, and in 2007 all for possession of drugs.

This time, the rapper and his crew (yeah, we said ‘crew’) were riding along the Sierra Blanca Highway in Hudspeth County Texas, when they were stopped by a border agent at the highway checkpoint. The agent claimed that he could smell marijuana coming from the bus they were driving. An inspection dog found 0.13 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle. But after Snoop confessed that the drugs were his, he and his crew were let go. The county judge, Becky Dean Walker, said that he will be punished with a fine of up to $500. Two days later, Snoop posted the video below via twitter, smokin’ a j (or perhaps a cigarette that looks like a j), directing a video.
