That-Sucks :: Judge Dismisses T-Boz’s Bankruptcy Case

Financial woes for T-Boz (real name Tionne Watkins) continue. Last October, she filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy, claiming she owed creditors $768,642.90. [Chapter 13 enables individuals with regular income to develop a plan to repay all or part of their debts. Under this chapter, debtors propose a repayment plan to make installments to creditors over three to five years.] And this week, a judge dismissed T-Boz’s case, refusing to provide assistance against her creditors, because she failed to make attempts to pay off her debt. If T-Boz would like to file again, she would have to wait 180 days. No word from T-Boz’s camp. [TMZ]
