[Video] Anderson Cooper Calls Star Jones Irrelevant + Star Barks Back
The TV beef has shifted from Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj to two other well-known TV personalities. Who? None other than Star Jones (formerly of The View) and Anderson Cooper (who still moonlights on CNN, along with his own show Anderson Live). What's the beef? Recently, Andy Cohen was shooting a segment on Anderson's show, when the two began to discuss Anderson's 'coming out' and he confesse that some old comments that Star Jones made (back in the day) really pissed him off. He explained:
"I will say and I actually haven't mentioned this, the only thing that did kind of annoy me and actually it annoyed my mom who brought it up to me, Star Jones of all people. I haven't thought about Star Jones in I don't know how long. I was unaware she was even on TV still … but she apparently shows up on a morning show. Out of the blue Star Jones … said this was a ratings ploy by me to boost ratings."
Ouch! And Star Jones, who has always been quite vocal responded to Anderson's comments on twitter, writing:
"I was wrong.@andersoncooper didn't come out as a ratings ploy. He used ME talking about him coming out@todayshow as a ratings ploy.#mybad"

Last time I checked he was on CNN; so with that being said, Star like he said you are irrelevant and he did not need you for anything regarding ratings. Really Star, really? Sounds like you used Anderson's coming out as a ratings ploy or should I say to make you stay relevant.
