Miguel Confesses He’s Working On Beyonce’s New Album
Earlier this week, singer and songwriter Miguel shared a photo with him and Beyonce in the studio. And while we weren’t sure of what exactly they had cooking, we were certain some type of musical magic was being made.
In an interview with MTV, Miguel (real name Miguel Jontel Pimentel) confirmed that he’s working on Beyonce’s new album and he’s excited about her new sound. His reaction when he received word that Queen Bey wanted to work with him was priceless.
“I just got word that I’ll be in [the studio] with BeyoncĂ© tomorrow which is amazing. I heard it from my team, and I was like, ‘Are you serious?’ ‘Are you sure?’ ‘Are we talking about the BeyoncĂ©? And after taking a second to confirm and double confirm and triple confirm, I’m excited to hear the direction of her new material, and hopefully come up with something that’s really special and really showcases her perspective.”
Dope.
