Tamar Braxton Denies Divorce Rumors, Defends Toni’s Comments About Oprah
For weeks, rumors have been swirling that music executive Vince Herbert and reality star/singer Tamar Braxton are heading towards divorce court. The two, who star in their own WE TV spin-off ‘Tamar & Vince’, visited Wendy Williams on Friday to address rumors. Peep a few excerpts.
On where rumors started that they were ending their marriage:
[Tamar] I don’t know. I don’t really, lie because it’s hard for me to remember stuff. I would never put a rumor out like that…because this is my baby.
On why they’re selling their 15,000 square foot mansion (that’s featured on their reality show):
[Tamar] We’re selling our house… because Vince found a new one.
[Vince] I want you to have everything you need. We need a little bit more space.
If they regret or get worried things that they share on TV:
[Tamar] I don’t have any regrets…its just that now people think it’s okay to comment on how they can comment on our relationship.
On if they were ever considering divorce:
[Tamar] No, never. When we got married, we decided that divorce wasn’t an option.
On the comments that Tamar’s sister, Toni Braxton, said about Oprah:
[Tamar] I think what Toni was saying was that people were looking at her different. I think that’s what she was aying. Oprah’s a human being as well, and she hurts people’s feeling sometimes.
