Oprah Brings #GladiatorsInSuits to Next Chapter: Featuring ‘Scandal’s’ Shonda Rhimes & Kerry Washington

I’m a HUGE fan of Shonda Rhimes’ ‘Scandal’, so when we spotted this photo, I almost screamed! Recently, Oprah Winfrey visited the set of ‘Scandal’ and sat down with Kerry Washington and Shonda Rhimes. According to twitter she did a table read AND both women will be on an upcoming episode of OWN’s “Next Chapter”. To date, Oprah’s camp hasn’t released details on what the episode will entail.

In my mind, this will be a two-parter, where O chops it up with the Scandal’s creator, with part 2 featuring Kerry Washington and the real-life Olivia Pope (Judy Smith). Mentally (after two coffees), I’ve also created a short feature of Oprah in an upcoming ‘Scandal’ episode. Far fetched? Eh. Anywho, stay tuned! P.S. Sunday’s “Next Chapter” will feature a sit-down with Bette Midler AND Valerie Simpson, one half of the duo Ashford & Simpson.
