Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms & Husband Test Positive For COVID-19
Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, who is reportedly in the running to become the running mate to presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, revealed that she has tested positive for COVID-19. She shared the news on social media, tweeting:
“COVID-19 has literally hit home. I have had NO symptoms and have tested positive.”
She shared that she will self-quarantine at home for the next two weeks. Both she and her husband are positive on Monday and they decided to get tested because her husband was sleeping more than normal. She shared,
“It’s a shock. It leaves me at a loss for words.”
Bottoms has been an outspoken critic of Georgia’s Republican governor, Brian Kemp. She accused of Kemp of lifting the strict social distancing measures put in place to try to slow the spread of the coronavirus too soon.
