Sunday evening, BET aired it’s 5th Annual Black Girls Rock Awards show hosted by Nia Long. BLACK GIRLS ROCK! Inc. is an organization that takes an active role in being a part of the solution to the crisis facing young women of color. They’ve joined forces with BET Networks for a monumental show highlighting the accomplishments of exceptional women of color who have made outstanding contributions in their careers, and who stand as inspirational and positive role models in their communities.
