Update: Tip Reporting to Arkansas Prison, “Mystery” Group Attempts to Free T.I. + B.o.B & T.I. Perform Together in Atl
Update: T.I. will report to a low-security federal prison in Arkansas by November 1.
AJC’s reporting that “Los Angeles prosecutors have declined to file charges related to a drug arrest last month. T.I., whose real names is Clifford Harris Jr., will still be going to jail on Nov. 1, but the news Monday means he won’t face an additional sentence in California.” Full story here.
“Citizens of the State of Atlanta Georgia,” a mysterious Atlanta group, has filed a motion to toss out Tip’s most recent jail sentence in federal court in Atlanta. T.I.’s lawyer told TMZ that despite the well-intentioned gesture — they had no plans to appeal the judge’s sentence. T.I.’s scheduled to start his time on November 1.
