Oscar de La Renta Gives Michelle Obama’s Dress the “Middle Finger”

While most of us fell in love with the dress worn by First Lady, Michelle Obama, one designer was not a fan. The First Lady rocked an asymmetrical red Alexander McQueen gown by Sarah Burton at the state dinner honoring the Chinese Republic.
Oscar de la Renta,was not impressed. He told WWD, “My understanding is that the visit was to promote American-Chinese trade — American products in China and Chinese products in America. Why do you wear European clothes?”
Well damn.
