Christina Aguilera Effs-Up the National Anthem, Says Sorry (Sorta)

Christina Aguilera belted out the National Anthem during the Super Bowl. She sounded amazing, but sorta effed up on a line or two. Specifically, the “O’er the ramparts we watched” line. Whatever she looked and sounded good. Check the clip.

After her performance, she released a statement to AP: “I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.”

In non-anthem news, Page Six is reporting that Christina is allegedly having a rough time in life right now (with her recent divorce) and has been displaying erratic behavior. Allegedly, her staff is concerned about her well-being and wants her to get some help. Full story here.
