Hustle Harder: Diddy Tops Forbes List, Beats Out Jay-Z. How? Ciroc.

41-year-old, Sean “Diddy” Combs tops Forbes’ rap’s richest list, with a fortune of $475 million. How in the hell did he beat out Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter? His ventures in Sean John clothing, Bad Boy Worldwide record label and what Forbes called as ‘most significant’ is his work with Diageo (Ciroc). Coming in a close second, is Mr. Carter, who’s sold over 50 million records worldwide. Last year, for the third time in four years, he topped the list and earned $63 million.
Coming in “honorable mention” (my words, not theirs), is producer/rapper Dr. Dre, who ranked third with $125 million. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, (who’s sale of Vitamin Water to Coca-Cola significantly helped his earnings) came in # five. 50 tied with Bryan “Birdman” Williams at $100 million. Peep the full list here.
