Jermaine Dupri Ducks Foreclosure on Atlanta Mansion
According to Channel 2 Action News, Jermaine Dupri’s Atlanta mansion (located on Mount Paran Road in northwest) that was in foreclosure and scheduled to be auctioned was canceled at the last minute. Initially, Suntrust Bank started the foreclosure on home for the amount of the loan, which was $2.5 million. Dupri owed the state $493,768.75 in back taxes for 2007. Shane Cox (of Design Logistics) also claims that Dupri still owes him $12,000 for managing the star’s mansion. In addition, Fayette County Tax Commissioner George Wingo told Channel 2 that he also owes $14,024.67 in unpaid property taxes, fees and penalties in connection with another property. The law firm that is handling the foreclosure that was canceled did not say why the sale was stopped.
