Is “Sex And The City” Returning To TV?

Producers of the movie and show series “Sex and the City” met recently to discuss some exciting news. The result of the meeting reveals that the TV series will possibly return to television soon, but the newest sequel in the movie series may be put on hold.
A source from Daily News explained:
“Ultimately Darren Star — the man who created the hit series — will have the overall say but everyone is agreed a TV show is the direction they want to take the franchise in. Sarah Jessica Parker will be producing. She was worried about doing another film after the bad reaction to “Sex And The City 2″ movie but a TV show is definitely something she wants to happen.”
The TV series premiered on HBO in 1998 and ended in 2004. It won various awards including 7 Emmys. A more recent version of the show would probably do great as well! The new movie sequel, though, was supposed to focus on the lives of the main characters when they were younger. Young celebs like Selena Gomez and Blake Lively were set to play in it. No more specific details have been revealed yet. What do you think of the news so far? Would you prefer a TV series, a movie sequel or just no “Sex And The City” at all?
