Vintage Debt :: Ruff Ryders Owes NYC $1 Million

Remember the 90’s group Ruff Ryders? Although they are no longer around (in terms of a group), their debt remains. According to BET and NY Daily News, their label owes more than $1 million for posting 3,400 illegal posters around NYC. Finance Commissioner David Frankel made an announcement calling them out. He explained:
“We’re going to come after you as hard as we possibly can.”
Ruff Ryders aren’t the only ones that were put on blast. Allegedly other companies that owe the city money are: “Spanish Raymond” Marquez ($1.6 million), Global Network Communications ($2.9 million) and businessman Raziel Ofer ($3.7 million).
