Jay-Z Announces Official Team Name, “Brooklyn Nets”

According to reports, press conference footage AND the Nets’ twitter page, Monday morning, Jay-Z announced, at the Barclays Center, that the offocial team name will be “Brooklyn Nets.” The team tweeted:

Jay-Z (@S_C_) announces he’ll open @barclayscenter & the official team name will be “Brooklyn Nets” #jayznets
