Kreayshawn: “I’m A Professional b*tch snatcher.”

We can always count on controversial, new artist Kreayshawn to bless us with some entertaining quotes. This week, the 22-year-old “Gucci, Gucci” rapper, did an interview on “Last Call with Carson Daly” and discussed her talents, music and personal life. Peep the quotes.
On Her Other Talents:
“I’m a rapper, I’m a graphic designer, a director, model, DJ, and a professional
bitchsnatcher.”
(Penny-on-that: Seriously, what is a b*tch snatcher? Sounds kinda dope but before I say I wanna be one, I wanna be sure I know wth it is.)
On Her Song, “Gucci Gucci”:
“I knew when we made “Gucci Gucci” that it was gonna be different because that song was when I actually sat down and didn’t just sit there and freestyle for 20 minutes. I sat down and wrote bars and we constructed this whole thing and ended up making a music video for it. The inspiration came from just being in L.A and seeing the difference between how L.A is and how Oakland is. The song means don’t buy into these material things and be yourself.”
On The Music Industry:
“There’s a lot of people that want to push you down: 1. For being female and 2. For being White. It’s hard. But I don’t see it like that. In Oakland that’s how you grew up. It’s so multi-cultural you don’t really see color. And Hip Hop was created for everyone to come together. It’s a culture for all races.”
On Her Upbringing:
“My mom was a single mom and she had me young. It kind of installed this independent thing in me. It’s crazy because I grew up on this block in Oakland and it was like 20 of us kids that all grew up on one block. We were all just going through all different parts of life, and inspiring each other. Me making music was just me expressing myself with my friends. I got a job at IKEA and I saved up enough money to get myself a MAC Book. That’s when
shitreally started popping.”
On Her Life Now:
“The best thing about everything that’s happened is that I have my head on my shoulders. I know what I want, I know my vision, and it’s not like I signed this record deal blindly. Whether that record deal was there or not, “Gucci Gucci” still would have had the same amount of views. Whatever happens, happens and I know that I’m a good person and I’m smart and I’m funny. If the music thing doesn’t work out then I’m talented at a million other things.”
Kreayshawn was recently signed to Columbia records. Peep the footage.
