More Details on the Murder of Omarosa’s Brother, Jack Manigault

Earlier this week, Howard University graduate and “Apprentice” star, Omarosa Manigault, received some horrible news. Her brother, Jack Manigault, had been murdered. The incident happened on Sunday, while Jack was asleep with his girlfriend in their Ohio home. The 40-year-old was woken up when his girlfriend’s 22-year-old ex-boyfriend, Marco Cardenas, broke into their house and began shooting a gun at him. According to his girlfriend, Jack tried running out of the room, but soon fell to the floor after being hit with a bullet that hit him in the head. Ex-boyfriend Cardenas then hit the girlfriend on her head with the gun and tried to shoot Jack again, before two younger juveniles who were also in the house were able to force him out. On Tuesday Cardenas was charged with murder, felonious assault and aggravated burglary. He pled non-guilty and has now been put on a 5 million dollar bond. Cardenas has had trouble with the law in the past. He was already on two-year probation for another breaking and entering charge. But Jack Manigault had his own troubles with the law as well, before the murder. In 2003 he was arrested for drug possession, carrying a concealed weapon, and illegal possession of a weapon.

But his sister, Omarosa, says that he had changed his life around by now and turned to God.
“My brother was so special to us! We loved him unconditionally. And we were so proud of him when he turned his life around and gave his life to God two years ago. We thank everyone for their amazing outpouring of support surrounding the tragic death of my brother Jack … Right now it is an extremely difficult time and we ask that you allow family privacy to grieve and make all necessary arrangements.”
We wish Omarosa and her family the best during their time of grief.
