Guess Who Lady Gaga Replaced Laurieann Gibson With?

Over the weekend, news hit that Lady Gaga and her well-known choreographer, Laurieann Gibson, had parted ways. Gibson is a VMA-winning choreographer, and is well-known for her work with not only Gaga, but Diddy (via MTV’s Making the Band), Keri Hilson and others. She was also a “Fly Girl” on the popular TV series In Living Color. On Monday, the split (between Gibson and Gaga) was confirmed by Gibson’s publicist to MTV. Apparently, they called it quits over creative differences. Meanwhile, guess who Gibson’s replacement is? It’s her old dance assistant, Richard Jackson. In early November, Gaga confirmed via Twitter that Jackson was her choreographer.

“Warming up with my choreographer Richard Jackson, singing + pinning garments till the last moment. So excited for The Night, gonna Marry It.”
If Jackson looks familiar, it’s because he was featured on Gibson’s reality show, “The Dance Scene”. No word on whether or not Gibson is upset with Jackson replacing her.
