Delonte West Ain’t Welcomed In the White House + Why Is He Living In His Car?
.
Over the weekend, NBA Baller, Delonte West, of the Dallas Mavericks pulled a Yeezy and did a little venting about his current unpleasant living experience. The twitter rant was triggered by a media interview with Brian Windhorst, after his game on Saturday. Compliments of Larry Brown Sports, here are his tweets (which have since been erased):

.
According to his tweets, he seems a lil financially strapped. Yikes. And in non-twitter news, which also isn’t too favorable, apparently, Delonte is un-welcomed in the White House. Reportedly, the team has been invited to the White House, except Delonte (who is from D.C.) because of his trouble with the law. Apparently, they did a background check and decided that it was a wrapola. Dwain Price of the Fort-Worth Star-Telegram quoted West following Saturday night’s Mavericks win:
“I’m banned from going to the White House, so I’m not going to make it,” West said after tonight’s 96-81 win over the New Orleans Hornets. “But I’m going home to D.C., I’m just not allowed to go to the White House. That’s what happens when you make bad decisions in your life. You can’t go to the White House. I’ve been there 100 times in my lifetime. I live right around the corner. I live in D.C. It’s going to be ashamed the President isn’t going to get a chance to meet me. I’m the president of my house.”
Well damn.
