After Bobby Brown learned of Whitney Houston’s death, he was scheduled to perform with New Edition in Mississippi. Here’s footage of him on stage, having an emotional moment. He told the crowd, “The hardest thing for me to do was to get on stage….” And Sunday afternoon, Brown released the following statement:
“I am deeply saddened at the passing of my ex-wife, Whitney Houston…..At this time, we ask for privacy, especially for my daughter, Bobbi Kristina. I appreciate all of the condolences that have been directed towards my family and I at this most difficult time.”

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that their daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital; she was later released Sunday afternoon. Peep the full story here.
