Big Sean Opens Up About Dropped Rape Case, “It was embarassing; I’m a respectful person.”

Friday morning, rapper Big Sean hit up NYC’s “The Breakfast Club” and talked about his progression as an artist thus far, his past beef with Ludacris, touring with Trey Songz, his upcoming compilation album, along with his thoughts on the after-math of the alleged rape case that was dropped.

On the alleged rape case that was later dropped:

“She said we touched her in the wrong places. The case got dropped… it showed me where I was at in my career… I’m a brand and I hafta protect myself… it’s a girl on the bus and she was all w/ her shirt off and stuff and I had to go back on stage in ten minutes… everybody was on the bus…the case didn’t really make sense… it was embaressing. I’m a respectful person and I’m nice. When my grandma woke up the next morning when she saw it on the news…”

On why he didn’t initially say anything, when he was first arrested:

“I got arrested because I couldn’t say anything… I was like, “Man I can’t say nothing…” [Cops] were like, “Good show, my daughter loves you…”

On his upcoming compilation album:

“I think when you truly wanna take over, it’s the best way to come together. I don’t have a title yet. What would be a good one?”

All hypothetical, but if he’d defend Common if he was to fight Drake:

“Why wouldn’t I? I’m loyal… I don’t think it even got to that point.”
