Rihanna’s Dad Says She Should Forgive Chris Brown + Why He Called Her A Chunky Tender

In an interview with Heat Magazine, singer Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, gives himself props for Ri Ri’s new physique and he also voices his support for his daughter’s reunion with Chris Brown. He said,
“Chris is a nice guy and everybody’s entitled to make mistakes in their life. God knows how many I’ve made. She’s her own woman now.”
Before he joined his daughter at the 54th Grammys, Ronald had last seen his daughter in Barbados, back in August, where, he admits, he critiqued her new weight gain. He said,
“I actually thought she was a little fat the last time I saw her. When I saw her at this year’s Grammys, I thought she was back to her normal size. I used to joke with her, ‘Robyn you’re getting too fat.’ But I think she’s fine. I think she looked excellent as everyone saw, at the Grammys. She’s dieting, she’s working out.”
Rihanna had been estranged from her father for two years before the two then reunited in 2010. When they reunited, Ronald said,
“Maybe we’re not as close as we were when she was growing up here… But we are blood, we do not stay angry.”
Typical dad, right?
