Has “The Game” Been Renewed? Find Out Which BET Shows Get A New Season
According to Deadline, BET has really decided to keep growing their television sitcom base. The network’s most popular scripted series, ‘The Game’ is rumored to have landed a third season on BET (it’s sixth season, in total). But BET isn’t stopping there. They are also supposedly renewing ‘Let’s Stay Together,’ and ‘Reed Between the Lines,’ two newer shows.
In addition, they will be adding a sitcom titled ‘Being Mary Jane,’ starring Gabrielle Union, which is about a talk show host who’s looking for breakthroughs in her career and love life; as well as a sitcom titled ‘Young Man On Campus,’ starring Jacob Latimore, which is about a 15-year-old college student. None of the show renewals have been officially announced yet. But on Thursday, an upfront presentation will be held, at which BET personnel will announce the news. So hopefully the show rumors will be proved true by then. For now, tell us what you think about BET’s alleged upcoming sitcom list. Yes!!!!!! It should be renewed, I’m so looking forward to seeing more positive black shows….
The Game should be renewed, but they DEF need to hire the writer from the CW to get it back on track. It’s filled with a bunch of NOTHING… like you watch 10 minutes and its already boring. Make it an hour and add more content.
