Mary J. Blige Lands New Reality Show Gig, Searches For Talent On the Web

Mary J. Blige has landed another gig. Soon, we’ll get to see the 41-year-old R&B singer on a reality show! The show, titled ‘Opening Act,’ will feature Mary alongside American Idol executive producer, Nigel Lythgoe, and Rock Mafia production team producer, Antonina Armato, as they scout for internet talent sensations. After Mary and her co-stars pick the best contestants, the chosen few will be whisked away to Hollywood boot camp and intense mentoring sessions, before competing in a talent competition. The one ultimate winner will get to open up for reknowned superstars like Nicki Minaj, Gym Class Heroes and LMFAO. ‘Opening Act’ will begin airing July 9th on E! Will you be tuning in?
