[Updated] Tia Mowry & Pooch Hall Quit BET’s “The Game”
According to HipHollywood’s source, Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall are NOT returning to BET’s popular show, The Game. Tia, who plays the character Melanie will stay busy with her Style Network reality show, while Pooch, who plays Derwin, has some other projects in the works. Earlier this month, Pooch tweeted:
Except me and BET got love for each other… They are wrkin it out. I’m on a new showtime show “Ray Donovan” showtime said I can still do The Game…
Updated: After the news hit that Tia would not be returning to the show, she confirmed the news on twitter:
“Just wanted to let all my fans know that I will not be returning to The Game for season 6. It was an incredible run and I had lots of fun. along the way. I am looking forward to my upcoming projects…the release of my book #OhBaby [today!], , season 2 of @TiaTameraShow on @mystyle premiering in June, and my @ABCFamily movie coming out in December…more to come!” love u so much

If these two. Leave the show there would be no. Point. The other characters are good but it wouldn’t be the same and this season. Is primarily focused. Around. Them. So i dont think. Keep the show would last
The show needs some new life. Melanie and Derwin were getting boring anyway.
I stopped watching ‘DURING’ the first episode of the new season. #BORING. Did all of that to bring it back and BET ruined it!

Great, the game has been getting on my nerves.
No I won’t be watching after this season. No offense to Wendy, Hosea or the other great cast members but Melaine and Derwin made the show…. I still remember when It was dropped from CW and I was making videos and petitioning to bring it back. I know that people have to live their lives but its like they are quiting on all that work the fans put in… I would be happy if they canceled the show and just did films with the storyline.. Hmmm.. I will tweet that to BET and Tia now.. #justmy2cents
