Jesus Take The Driver’s License :: Rev. Marvin Winans Wanted (Sorta) By the Law

Interesting spin on this story…last week, we shared that Reverend Marvin Winans, the pastor who led Whitney Houston’s funeral proceedings, was carjacked last week in Detroit by 4 men. But what’s a bit odd about this story is that according to DetroitNews.com, Winans is wanted by the law and has an active warrant out for his arrest. According to reports, May 9th after failing to pay 2 tickets issued back in December (one ticket is for traffic and the other from a previous driving on a suspended license). Winans then missed his court date and a judge issued a warrant for arrest. Winans’ camp has since released a statement saying,
“The issue is being addressed … A lot of that is handled by his administrative team, not by him.”
Amen.
