[Video] Lil Wayne Explains Pulling Nicki Minaj from Summer Jam, “I believe females deserve the ultimate respect.”

A few weeks ago, New York fans were up in arms, when Nicki Minaj abruptly opted out of her appearance for Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert. Weeks later, the man responsible for making an executive decision that NO member of Young Money would perform for the show, Lil Wayne, explained his rationale behind the move.

“No person that works with me, will be disrespected, in my presence as long as I’m on this planet…I expect the pink carpet to be laid out for her. No hard feelings, she said she was disrespect…”
