Chad Ochocinco Arrested For Domestic Dispute Charges On Evelyn Lozada

Reportedly, over the weekend, newly married Chad Johnson (formerly Ochocinco) was involved in a domestic violence dispute. According to Davie Police Department captain Dale Engle allegedly, Ocho and his wife Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada had some type of physical altercation with each other, that ended with her being head-butted, resulting in lacerations. The incident occurred in the driveway of their home, in the car. Black Sports Online reports:
Johnson allegedly head-butted his new wife, Evelyn Lazado, during an argument. When cops came on the scene Lazado, a star in VH1’s Basketball Wive’s Reality series, had lacerations on her forehead, and Johnson was arrested.
What triggered the alleged fight or argument? TMZ reports:
According to our sources, the fight started when Lozada found a receipt for condoms in the center of the couple’s Maserati and confronted Johnson about it. A verbal argument ensued.
The call to police came at Johnson’s residence. Evelyn was transported to a hospital and treated. Stay tuned.
**UPDATED** Miami Dolphin’s verified twitter account, released a short statement on twitter:
“We are aware of the situation & are in the process of gathering all the relevent information.”
