[Photos] Nerd Prom: Hollywood Takes Over DC for White House Correspondents’ Dinner
There are very few weekends when the Nation’s capital looks like Hollywood, but this weekend, almost every celeb under the sun put on their red carpet’s best for what we affectionately call ‘Nerd Prom’.
The annual gather, called the ‘White House Correspondents’ Association dinner’, drew journalists, government officials, politicians and media personalities. The light-hearted party, where Presidents make fun of themselves and others in attendance, is one of the more highly anticipated bashes. This year’s dinner entertainer, was comedian and late-night TV talk-show host Conan O’Brien. In attendance were, Katy Perry, Gayle King, Kerry Washington, Shonda Rhimes, Anna Wintour, PSY, Amy Poeler, Tracy Morgan, Victor Cruz, Geraldo, MC Hammer, Andy Cohen, Alexandra Wentworth, George Stephanopoulos and some other fancy folk. One of the more entertaining moments for me, we watching President Obama’s entrance music, which happened to be DJ Khaled’s ‘All I Do Is Win’. Check it out, along with photos of the evening:
