[Video] Twitter Criticism Erupts During ‘Preachers of LA’ Premiere + Watch the 1st Episode
This week, Oxygen’s highly anticipated reality show, Preachers of LA, premiered it’s first episode. The 60 minute non-scripted show gave viewers a peak inside the lives of popular mega preachers and pastors in the Los Angeles area. Following the lives of cast members: Bishop Noel Jones, Minister Deitrick Haddon, Bishop Clarence McClendon, Pastor Jay Haizlip, Pastor Wayne Chaney and Bishop Ron Gibson, the first episode kicked off documenting the casts lifestyles on and off the pulpit. And as expected, the show premiered with a ton of buzz on social media outlets including twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Christians and non-religious folk were voiced highly opinionated views, praising and highly criticizing the show. Check out a few highlights.

Im not surprised… people are always in their feelings about something….
I actually found this 1st episode of The Preachers of LA. to be very entertaining. I enjoyed the concept, and I feel that anyway that lost souls can be reached is alright with me. We live in a society of Reality TV watchers, so they may make an impact on some of those that may never have entertained the thought of entering a church. Unlike my generation, Church is not a given with the black single parent and hip-hop families.
comment was on point, no one feels like there action play a big part in our youth today, we need to band the songs, some of our reality Tv shows, we are setting a negative down fall for our youth, if money can make you not only look like a fool on these reality Tv shows, then i don’t ever want to be rich in that manner. like Al sharp says we need to stand up and write petitions to prevent what we watch. because in reality we all are paying for our kids to be destroyed by what Tv director , cast, actors, channel we watch. but I do want to give all the praise and glory to Ti, and his wife Tiny, you are what reality Tv show needs not just once a week but every day. and tyler perry keep doing what you are doing and TD.
