The good deeds continue for rapper, The Game (real name Jayceon Taylor). As if his Robin Hood Project wasn’t enough, over the weekend, we caught the 34-year-old rapper playing Santa Clause to seven adorable children from Compton. On his Instagram page, he shared a touching story about how one of his close friends died tragically last year, leaving behind seven children. The Game took the children and his late friend’s mother to Toys ‘R Us, spending $5K. After their shopping spree, The Game wrote:

Today was a very special day to me. I had the opportunity to play Santa Claus to one of my best friends kids. @cbp_frogg was murdered in Compton California earlier this year & one of the promises I made to myself was to make sure in his absence his 7 kids are loved & have the things he’d want them to have for as long as I could provide it. With that being said, I called their mothers @tladawn @niecy2braidz & @Mekababii81 & had them bring the kids & meet me at Toys R Us….. & when I say we balled out…. We fuckin BALLED OUT in that bish !!!!! I’m just glad I am in a position to help people when I want to… The smiles on their faces made today everything & more for me. I love these children with all my heart & I want each one of them to know that their Father was a great person that was taken too soon. Starting #TheRobinHoodProject in October & helping people was the best thing that could’ve happened for me at this time in my life. It’s my balance & I will continue giving back & helping people as long as my life allows it. Everyone enjoy your day & remember to let the people that you LOVE know it as much as possible because tomorrow is not for everyone. To @cbp_frogg…… I love you homie, you are missed & your memory is multiplied 7 times & shines bright through the eyes & smiles of these children. Until we meet again. #therobinhoodproject #family #christmas #soowooclaus #holidayseason

He added:

They made my day… Glad I could ball them out for Christmas. They miss you, we all miss you. Know you lookin down smilin’ homie. Rest in paradise my n*gga.#TheRobinHoodProject..The reward was better than the gift. Glad I could make their Xmas list come to life !!!!! @cbp_frogg I told you I got ALL 7 kids !!!! Rest In Paradise Mike !!!!

Sweet.
