Yandy Smith, Jennifer Williams & Juelz Santa Help New Yorkers #GetCovered
It’s countdown time for the Affordable Care Act deadline. A few NYC area reality stars and celebs helped spread the word, organizing a #GetCovered Tour. Traveling through Brooklyn, Harlem and the Bronx, celebrities including Yandy Smith (Love & Hip Hop), Jennifer Williams (formerly of Basketball Wives), rapper Juelz Santana, Tionna Smalls (Girl Get Your Mind Right) and Congressman Charlie Rangel spoke with people, educating them about the initiative. Organized by political strategist Valeisha Butterfield, celebs made a few pit stops, including popular Harlem restaurant, Sylvia’s, where they held a press conference.
