It was a celebratory weekend for LL Cool J’s wife, Simone Smith who turned 44. The jewelry designer and cancer survivor celebrated her birthday in a healthy way. Instead of a typical bash, she held a private event with a health and wellness theme. Attendees spent the afternoon practicing yoga, meditation and exercise. She beamed on Twitter:

Celebs tuning into their healthier selves on their birthday seems to be a growing trend. Earlier this year, Oprah Winfrey hosted a Soul Cycle session for her 60th.
