Lynn Price, Former Turkey Leg Hut Owner, Indicted For Orchestrating 2020 Bar Explosion In Alleged Arson-For-Hire Plot
Lyndell “Lynn” Price, former owner of Turkey Leg Hut and current owner of The Oyster Hut, was arrested Thursday following a federal indictment tied to a 2020 arson.
“Price…was in tears when he was pulled over,” said a source to KPRC 2. He’s accused of conspiring with Armani Williams and John Lee Price to ignite Bar 5015, owned by a former Turkey Leg Hut partner.
The indictment claims Lynn Price recruited them and paid for the job. On June 12, 2020, Williams and an unnamed accomplice bought gasoline and face coverings, then “poured gasoline across the deck and down the entrance ramp.” At 4:44 a.m., “they lit a piece of paper,” and by 4:47 a.m., “Lynn Price received a phone call” confirming the arson.
Price is also accused of paying to burn a stolen Chevy Nova.
“This is a classic example of being very mindful of the company you keep,” said John Price’s attorney.
