Actress KeKe Palmer has landed a new TV gig. Reportedly, she’s landed a new daily talk show on BET. Tentatively called The Keke Palmer Project, the show (produced by Telepictures) has been picked up for an initial four-week run. With Judge Mathis as the executive producer, it will premiere in July, airing Mondays-Fridays.
Reportedly, at only 20-years-old, KeKe will become the youngest talk show host in TV history. According to Deadline, her show will cover such topics as fashion, pop culture, social issues, sex, and will feature celebrity interviews, “on the street” bits and undercover segments.
KeKe’s work in Hollywood became well known, when she played in the 2006 movie, Akeelah And The Bee. She went on to topline her own series, Nickelodeon comedy True Jackson, VP. In addition to KeKe’s new show, BET has brought two syndicated daily talk shows to its network– The Wendy Williams Show and The Queen Latifah Show.
