Motherhood Never Looked So Good! Ciara’s Bare Pregnancy Belly Hits ‘W Magazine’

At a growing 8 months, Ciara is on her final days before delivering her first son, with rapper Future. And she’s serving all types of pregnancy glow for W Magazine. Photographed by Carlos Serrao, the 28-year-old shares why she’s been so public about her pregnancy, connecting with her now fiance and getting her post-pregnancy body back into shape.

On having a ‘public’ pregnancy, as opposed to remaining private:

My mom and I don’t have a lot of photos of my early years. So I decided we should document everything. This is one of those moments you can’t repeat.

On how she met her now fiance, Future:

Music is a place where we have a very strong connection. We created ‘Body Party’, and that song created something else—and that’s why we’re here.

If she’ll allow her child to follow her musical footsteps:

It’s a really hard world. If that’s what their heart yearns for, then I’m down. I believe in allowing your child to be who they want to be—as long as they want to be something great.

On getting back in shape, after her pregnancy:

I will go on record saying so. As soon as the body says hit the gym, I’m gonna hit the gym. I’ve been having a lot of food fun.
