[WATCH] Miguel Releases ‘Simple Things’ Video

R&B singer Miguel is not asking for much this summer. The 28-year-old lets it be known that all he wants is the simple things in his new rock-style ballad, asking for someone to just smoke and lay with him. In his new video for “Simple Things,”model Gigi Hadid, who just happens to be fresh off a breakup with Australian Pop-singer Cody Simpson, plays his love interest.

With one verse, he shares his ideal woman singing:

I said, No I don’t want a model
I don’t need a debutante
Just be a tough act to follow
You know, a free spirit, with a wild heart
Alright, I said I just want someone real, someone true
I said I just want someone else.

Miguel, working on his third studio album,has features of DJ Premier and Michael Angelakos from Passion Pit. Rumored to also feature on the upcoming album is  J.Cole and Jessie Ware.
