[EXCLUSIVE] RHOA Sheree Whitfield’s Ex-Husband Bob Whitfield, Makes Only 3k/Month From Disability Checks
Bob Whitfield, who was married to Sheree from 2000 to 2007, filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy back in 2011, claiming he had assets totaling 1.07 million but had 600k in liabilities. The former NFL star filed the bankruptcy to attempt to work out payment plans to pay off the debt without having his assets sold off. However, months later the case was converted to Chapter 7 — meaning his debt was too much to correct without selling off the things he owned. He claimed in his petition that he only made $3,455 a month off his disability checks. The bankruptcy case is still pending and his creditors are still in the process of being paid or deals being worked out.
theJasmineBRAND.com has learned exclusively that on June 2nd, docs were filed by the trustee who is looking over Bob’s bankruptcy case. The documents note that the trustee is not going to sell off his Georgia home, firearms, hobby equipment, automobiles and other vehicles– meaning Bob will be allowed to keep the assets. This is good news for the ex-NFL star who has already had 2 of his other homes sold off to pay off his 600k debt. The case is still pending and other assets are likely to be sold in the near future.
