NBA Baller Matt Barnes and Snoop Dogg used their celebrity and famous friends for a worthy cause.
On Sunday (September 7th) the Clippers player and artist hosted the 2nd Annual Cancer vs. Charity Celebrity Football Game. Held at Granada Charity Hills Charter High School, celebrity participants and attendees included Blake Griffin, Rodney Peete, Chris Paul, Ray J, Snoop Dogg, Laura and Gloria Govan, Jackie and Doug Christie, Alex Thomas, Lil Mo, Terrell Owens and Jackie Long.
Proceeds benefited Athletes vs Cancer, a non-profit organization that unites athletes, celebrities and the community together in the fight to save lives and find a cure for cancer. Barnes founded Athletes vs. Cancer in memory of his mother, Ann Barnes, who passed away twenty-six days after being diagnosed with four types of cancer in November of 2007.
