Get Your Game Face: Black Eyed Ravens Woman, Addresses Ray Rice Elevator Controversy
According to The Hollywood Reporter, more organizations have began to speak out, one being the National Organization for Women, saying in a statement:
The NFL has lost its way. It doesn’t have a Ray Rice problem; it has a violence against women problem.
On Sunday, women’s advocacy group UltraViolet flew planes over NFL stadiums with banners that read “#GoodellMustGo.” One such banner was allegedly spotted at the Giants-Cardinals game.
As previously reported, initially Goodell issued a mere two-game suspension to Rice for assaulting Janay Palmer. After additional footage was leaked, the running back was cut by the Baltimore Ravens and suspended by the league indefinitely.
Over the weekend, both Ray and Janay made their first public appearance since the video’s release. P.S. What are your thoughts — should the NFL commissioner be removed? Or should the public and media move on?

Roger Goodell is a figure head. He works for the owners. He enforces the rules of the CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement). He is there SOLELY to protect and promote the interest of the 32 owners. The end. If there will be change, it will happen with ownership. And if you pay attention, ownership is now putting their glasses on and making their own team specific punishments. Greg Hardy was deactivated by the Panthers this weekend. He was convicted of Domestic Violence a few months ago, but is waiting a jury trial which is a law in NC. The sad truth is that the majority of the NFL players are good guys. They would never do some of the things, and they should continue to be supported. I also think some of these advocacy groups are opportunistic. They are protesting what is hot right now. But were they protesting at the fight this weekend? Mayweather is a known, incorrigible, convicted woman beater. He also does not seem to be very apologetic about it. But that’s not “Hot news” right now.
