Musiq Soulchild (real name Taalib Johnson) is trying his hand, or vocals, at rap music. The soulful artist who established his career with hits like ‘Love’, has unveiled he is transitioning to rap music.
His new name? The Husel. On his official web site he explained:
The Husel is not a person, the Husel is a state of mind. Everyone has their own interpretation of the hustle, this just happens to be mine.
On his new auto-tune heavy track titled ‘Grindin’, he rhymes:
