(EXCLUSIVE) Lil Kim Hit With $186K Judgement Over Unpaid Legal Bills
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports Lil Kim has been hit with a $186K judgement by a federal court judge — after not responding to a legal battle accusing her of not paying her lawyers for years. The rapper was hit with a federal lawsuit by the trustee in charge of the law firm, Dewey & Leboeuf, bankruptcy case.
Lil Kim was represented by attorney L. Londell McMillan over the years, most notably during her criminal case case where he defended her on charges of perjury. The two were so close that he accompanied her to check in to prison to start her 1-year sentence in the case.
The court docs filed recently, accuse Kim of being a client of the firm from 2007-2012. The trustee says that the firm provided Kim with legal services but in late 2007 — she stopped paying the invoices they sent.
